Our client, Yau Brothers & Co Limited is an authentic Chinese retailer and food wholesaler, offering a rich and diverse range of Asian cuisine and ingredients to Chinese food industry (including oriental restaurants and takeaways). They provide an extensive selection of products, from fresh vegetables and exotic fruits to dried goods, sweet treats and an array of spices - sourced from trusted suppliers who adhere to the highest quality standards.

Having grown considerably over the last few years and with more growth planned, they are now looking for an experienced Warehouse Operations Manager, who has ability to bring efficiency, harmony and organisation to a team of 50 staff over 3 sites.

Warehouse Operations Manager, the role:

• Having full responsibility for the overall running of the warehouse, delivery and stocking of the retail store
• Managing Warehouse operational processes
• Leading sites in an efficient and safe manner
• Ensuring a culture of continuous improvement and drive engagement through the team
• Being accountable for KPIs
• Inspiring a diverse team, providing guidance and coaching to achieve operational goals
• Making sure that the company is fully in compliance with any legislation in warehouse area

Warehouse Operations Manager, the person:

• In depth experience working in a large, high paced, distribution, warehouse or retail environment is a must
• Brilliant communication skills - you must be able to work with, lead and motivate a diverse ethnic workforce
• Resilient and adaptable, working well under pressure
• An organised, diligent individual with a good eye for detail
• Capable of seeing the bigger picture and bring ideas that will help to transform the business
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Package
• Good knowledge of financial processes
• Ability to speak Cantonese would be an advantage
