Salary: £20-25k DOE

Our client, Southern Communications Limited, have been bringing people and technology together since 1965. With Head Quarters in Basingstoke, Hampshire they encompass a variety of subsidiary businesses that all have a strong entrepreneurial spirit and as a group, they specialise in the delivery of services across the spectrum of communications technology.
Due to their continued growth, they are now seeking a tenacious highly organised Billing Administrator to join their busy team. You will make sure their clients are billed accurately and on time each month. You will assist in the population and amending of customer invoice charges and ensure these are kept up to date, along with handling incoming customer queries following the monthly invoices.
Billing Administrator, day to day duties:
- Adding, removing and editing customer charges
- Updating invoices with additional information (Purchase Order Numbers, Sub-Sites)
- Handling the setup of new customer accounts and ensuring the charges align to the customers signed agreement
- Ensuring that the process prior to billing being required has been completed fully
- Working with internal teams to streamline processes
- Supporting in the Bill Run
- Running and maintaining customer reports
- Creating ad-hoc bespoke reports based on Customer billing data
Billing Administrator, the person:
- Previous experience within a similar role would be beneficial
- Educated to degree level
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Works well on own initiative without close supervision
- Must be able to prioritise and manage their workload
- High level of numeracy and literacy
- Good communicator, able to verbalise findings and suggest solutions
- Polite and well mannered
- Confident and happy personality, prepared to be innovative
- Ability to work under time pressure and towards challenging targets
- Microsoft Office suite
