Credit Controller

Birmingham

Permanent, part time – 9am until 3pm (30h per week)

Salary: £28-32k FTE (£21-24k actual)

Due to their continued growth, they are now looking for an experienced Credit Controller to join their busy team. You will be responsible for managing the credit control process, ensuring timely collection of outstanding debts, and maintaining positive relationships with clients. The role is crucial in supporting the financial health of the business and requires a proactive approach to managing accounts receivable.

Credit Controller, the role:

• Managing credit control process to ensure timely payment of invoices
• Maintaining accurate records of all communications with customers
• Overseeing statements, reminders and final notices to customers
• Liaising with internal departments to resolve queries related to invoices or payments
• Generating reports on aged debtors and provide insights to management on issues
• Processing of monthly direct debit run
• Providing various general administrative functions, as and when required by the business and management team

Credit Controller, the person:

• Previous experience in a credit control or accounts receivable role
• Familiarity with accounting software (Sage, Microsoft Dynamics Business Central or Affinity)
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• High level of attention to detail
• Strong organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
