HR Operations Partner
Hybrid – 2 to 3 days per week in the office
Permanent, part time – ideally up to 28h over 4 days
Salary – up to £55k FTE

Our client, London CIV was established in 2015 to manage London’s Local Government Pension Scheme (‘LGPS’) assets. Their ultimate clients are the c.711,000 pensioners/future pensioners of the 32 London Boroughs, which means that what they do, day to day - makes a difference.
As at March 2024, London CIV is responsible for managing c.£32bn of pooled assets and during the last financial year generated £2.4m in fee savings. They are one of eight LGPS asset pooling companies in the UK.
London CIV are seeking a HR Operations Partner, who with the support of the rest of the HR team, will be responsible for the smooth operational day to day delivery of the Human Resources function. Over time they will be expected to build trusted working relationships with all colleagues and a reputation, both internally and externally, as someone who is a reliable, responsive, caring and capable HR professional.
HR Operations Partner, the role:
- Acting as the first point of contact for all day to day administrative and operational HR related employee queries
- Managing employee data in HR systems (e.g. Cezanne), filing as well as ensuring all documents are current and properly maintained
- Supporting HR colleagues with people reporting and analytical information requests
- Leading the monthly payroll process (outsourced payroll provider)
- Overseeing the core HR processes and workflows including its development and enhancement
- Working closely with the HR team to ensure the smooth and effective implementation of the Senior Managers Certification Regime (SMCR)
- Assisting with planning, educating and implementing employee benefits and remuneration offering
- Supporting the Senior HR Business Partner with the administration of learning and development
- Looking after the logistics of annual performance reviews
- Ensuring the HR team complies with its GDPR responsibilities
- Taking part in recruitment processes - scheduling interviews, managing diaries etc.
- Helping with processing of HR related invoices
HR Operations Partner, the person:
- Excellent eye for detail and can-do attitude
- Enjoy working with colleagues and employees - being part of a friendly and collaborative team and having client focused outlook
- Outstanding organisational skills and motivation to work in a busy working environment
- Resourceful enough to find the answers to questions but isn’t afraid to ask either
- Appreciating working as part of a team, but comfortable with a degree of autonomy
- Efficient with their time, but are also able to make time to have a chat and a laugh
- Able to put themselves in the shoes of others, in order to deliver excellent employees’ service
- Quick learner, who is flexible and can bring ideas of how to be even better
- Demonstratable experience of juggling busy workloads and prioritising
- Good experience leading monthly payroll processes with an outsourced payroll provider
- Knowledge and practical implementation experience of GDPR
- Experience of SMCR in the Financial Services sector would be beneficial
