Location: Andover, Hampshire
Full time, Permanent
Salary: £30k-32k per annum

They are now seeking an experienced IT Technician to support and strengthen their internal IT operations.

IT Technician, the role:

  • Deliver proactive and reactive 1st and 2nd line technical support

  • Troubleshoot hardware, software and network issues across the business

  • Perform root cause analysis on recurring incidents and recommend improvement

  • Support and maintain Windows Server environments and core network infrastructure

  • Provision and manage PCs, laptops, mobile devices, servers, switches and VoIP system

  • Manage Microsoft Intune for device enrolment, compliance, patching and policy management

  • Maintain endpoint security, patch management and compliance standards

  • Monitor system performance, alerts and logs to identify issues early

  • Maintain accurate asset registers and licensing documentation

  • Support IT projects, upgrades, cybersecurity initiatives and disaster recovery processes

  • Escalate complex technical issues where appropriate

IT Technician, the person:

  • 3–5 years’ experience in an IT support role

  • Strong knowledge of Windows desktop environments (Windows 11)

  • Experience administering Microsoft 365

  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune and endpoint management

  • Working knowledge of Active Directory (user provisioning, groups, basic GPOs)

  • Understanding of endpoint security, patch management and MFA

  • Strong problem-solving ability and proactive mindset

  • Confident communicator with users at all levels
